Breakfast in the hotel and free morning tour of the city.

In the afternoon free visit of Modena, a lovely town on a human scale where the charm of history is combined with modern creations. Its historic centre and the Ducal Palace, now home to the prestigious military academy, evoke the grandeur of the Este family. Return to Bologna and free dinner (with the possibility to dine in a typical restaurant of the city).

Return to the hotel and overnight.

Full day to visit the monuments and museums that represent the cultural heritage of the city: Piazza Maggiore rich in historical buildings such as the Palazzo d'Accursio, home of the City and equipped with important halls including the Sala d'Ercole, the Senate Hall, the Farnese Hall with its Chapel; the Basilica of San Petronio dedicated to the patron saint of the city, the largest and most important church in Bologna. Possibility to have lunch with the typical "Tigella Bolognese". In the afternoon climb to the imposing Bolognese Towers: The Asinelli Tower and the Garisenda Tower both the symbol of the city. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.
