Bari and the poetics of Polignano

Pick up of the rental car in the parking station of Bari airport or/ and city center. Accommodation in the hotel, tour of the promenade and the district of San Nicola or "old Bari". Free lunch with possibility to eat in a typical fish restaurant. In the afternoon visit of the Basilica of St. Nicholas, patron saint of the city, where his remains rest. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, discover the Norman-Swabian Castle. After free lunch and in the afternoon visit of the city from a special perspective: underground Bari , a guided tour in the company of accredited archaeologists. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.  

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Polignano a mare. Visit the Abbey of San Vito and the statue dedicated to the famous artist Domenico Modugno, at the end of free lunch. Afternoon dedicated to the Lama Monachile, a crystal blue sea cove not far from the center and finally return to Bari for dinner and overnight in the hotel.
